13 And they shouted again, “Crucify him!” 14 And Pilate said to them, “Why? What evil has he done?” But they shouted even louder, “Crucify him!”

15 So Pilate, because he[a] wanted to satisfy[b] the crowd, released for them Barabbas. And after[c] he had Jesus flogged, he handed him[d] over so that he could be crucified.
